FIRST MAINSTREET HISTORY

To truly understand the nuances of our organization, let’s
go back in time to 1905. That year, three influential
Longmont businessmen started Longmont Realty and
Insurance (LR&I). The name stayed the same for about
90 years, until three generations of the Jurgens family
claimed continuous majority stakes. By 1995, it was
finally time to transfer ownership to key company
employees. We changed the organization name to
First MainStreet Insurance.
That brings us to today. Our history showcases many
years of insurance excellence – and we plan to make
our future just as bright. First MainStreet Insurance is
currently owned by seven dedicated insurance
professionals. Together, our 25 employees share their
common commitment to service on a daily basis,
enriching our reputation and protecting our customers. |
